Colin Grzybowski Associate Civils Christie Gillespie

Colin joined the Christie Gillespie team in August 2021 as an Associate and has over 18 years of experience in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering. Colin graduated from Napier University in 2003 and became an Incorporated Engineer in 2017. In the early years of his career, he worked with a house builder developing Infrastructure Engineering design skills also supporting the Architects and development of house types and together with time on site this gave him a well-rounded view on housing development from an early stage. Following a few years at URS Corporation where he further developed his design capabilities working on many different development types, Colin moved to WA Fairhurst soon to become Fairhurst. Throughout his 13 years, he progressed to Principal Engineer leading the infrastructure team and working on a wide variety of small to large projects including large 500-600 unit residential masterplans, the new Inverness Campus as well as, and by no means the largest, the Andy Scott Dunbear sculpture in Dunbar, East Lothian. He has worked on many different types of projects including design and master planning of commercial, educational, industrial, leisure, regeneration, residential and trunk roads.

In addition to the above Colin has also worked on commercial, educational, industrial, aviation, tourism & leisure, regeneration, residential and car parking developments. Colin manages the infrastructure team within our Musselburgh Office.

Colin spends his leisure time with his family and enjoys all things cycling; owning far too many bikes for just one person.
